Chess 4 Math is a math-practice adventure for kids, made by a small team that cares about doing this right. This page explains, in plain language, what information we handle and what we don't.
The short version
- The only personal information we collect is a parent email address — and only if you choose to join the Parent Preview list.
- The demo requires no account and no personal information about your child.
- Everything your child does in the demo stays in the browser on your own device.
Parent emails (the Parent Preview list)
If you join the Parent Preview, we collect the email address you enter and use it to send you updates about Chess 4 Math — for example when new islands open or the preview expands. Signups are handled through Kit, the email service that stores our list and sends our updates, so your address is stored with Kit on our behalf. We don't sell your address or share it beyond that, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Your child's privacy
No child account is needed to use the demo, and the demo never asks for your child's personal information. Your child picks an avatar and an adventure nickname, and those — along with quest progress and earned badges — are stored only in the browser on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing the browser's site data removes them.
Cookies & analytics
The site currently uses no analytics trackers and no advertising or tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard web requests in order to serve the pages. If we add measurement to the marketing pages later, we'll update this page first.
Removing your data
To leave the Parent Preview list, use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, or write to chess4math@gmail.comand we'll remove your address. For the demo itself there is nothing to delete on our side — your child's progress lives only on your device.
Changes & contact
If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions are always welcome at chess4math@gmail.com.
